Sew Your Own Christmas Stocking

All you need to make a christmas stocking and to decorate it. A great chance to learn new sewing skills.

Kit includes instructions for different stitches: running, back, blanket, chain and feather stitches and French knots

Pack contains:

twelve or 60 large fleece stocking shapes (9 x 12")
six or 30 fleece top bands in a contrasting colour which can be edged with scissors or stitches
a range of contrasting fleece shapes: large and small stars, christmas trees and heart
six or 30 ribbons for hanging
six or 30 skeins of contrasting embroidery thread (colours vary)*
six or 30 blunt needles*
two or 15 instruction sheets ‘Teach Yourself Some New Stitches’*
full instructions

*you may choose to select the option in the box above for gluing the stockings:
in which case you will receive an 120ml bottle of PVA glue for six stockings (six bottles for 30 stockings),
instead of the needles , thread and sewing instructions

You will need:

You may wish to use/add:

children's PVA glue or a fabric glue with spreader
beads, sequins and other decorations

Level of difficulty:

more challenging if entirely sewn (but more rewarding)
adult help will be needed

younger children may prefer to use glue rather than a needle and thread or a combination of gluing and stitching
