Our Customer Guarantees for Your Assurance

Postage and Packing

hopefish limited is a UK mail order company and our standard shipping price of £3.50 is applicable to all those with a UK postcode, including the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the outer islands of Scotland. We are happy to ship to the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and to Her Majesties forces overseas (BFPO) but because they are not served by Royal Mail parcel rate we have had to set the standard shipping price at £4.50. We are glad to be able to offer FREE postage and packing for all UK postcodes on orders over £75.

International Orders

For countries outside the United Kingdom we ask that you would email us a complete list of the products required and we will gladly quote for shipping costs and expected delivery times. Orders will be charged in british pounds sterling and payment can be made through Paypal on receipt of an invoice. 

 

 

Payment Options

We are happy to accept payment by post, but for security and simplicity we prefer that you pay us using PayPal. You do NOT need to sign up for a PayPal account to do this. You only need to do the following:

  1. Enter your name and shipping address.
  2. You will then be prompted for your credit card number, email address and phone number.
  3. You will then be given the OPTION whether you wish Paypal to save your information to create a PayPal account to make future transactions faster.
  4. You will receive a Purchase Order from us by email and we shall dispatch the items ordered.
    (see dIspatch and delivery times below)

If you are not comfortable with internet payments we are happy to accept cheques or postal orders. To do this please select the 'Pay by Post' option when you place your online order and we shall automatically email a Purchase Order to you. We request that you post payment to us promptly and ensure that you either include a copy of your Purchase Order or your name, address and order number. On receipt and transfer of the money, up to three working days, we will send you the items ordered.

 

Shipping and Handling

Dispatch Time 

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of the order being placed. Most items are dispatched within 24hours. We always retain proof of postage.
When, due to high demand, items are either out of stock or in limited supply, we will contact you and ask whether you wish to continue with the order. If so, we will dispatch as soon as the item comes back into stock or sufficient quantities have been assembled.

Delivery Time

Unless you request expedited shipping, all parcels up to 1.0 kg are sent first class. To keep costs down, items over 1.0 kg are sent by courier or by Royal Mail Standard second class parcel or Parcelforce. Unfortunately, longer delivery times, up to 5 working days delivery, may be experienced by customers in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Scottish offshore islands. Please contact us if this might be a problem or if you require expedited shipping. In such instances we will send you a Paypal invoice which will reflect the charges we incur from Royal Mail or the couriers and, on receipt of payment, will ship the items as previously agreed.

 

Returns Policy

At hopefish, we are keen for all of our customers to be delighted with their purchases, so if you should encounter any problems then please do contact us.

Change of Mind
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase we offer a 30-day refund on all purchases. To qualify, you should return the product to us in its original condition, unopened, within 30 days, and we will reimburse you the value of the items returned, minus the original postage costs, or send you an alternative; the choice is yours. We reserve the right to charge for postage of replacement items.

Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item is found to be lacking any part or component, is not as ordered, is faulty on delivery, or has been damaged in transit, we apologise. Please let us know as soon as possible. We will do all we can to make amends: by sending you the missing component, a replacement or alternative item. Alternatively, we are willing to offer a full refund. In the event of your requiring a replacement, alternative or refund, please return the faulty or damaged product to us.

How to Return an Item
To return an item to us, please follow the steps below
1. Contact us by email with details of the problem: in the case of a faulty or damaged item please also provide a full description of the fault.
2. Package the entire item securely in its original packing.
3. Send the package to:

4. Unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error, you are responsible for the cost of returning items to us. We recommend that you use recorded-delivery for returning all items, for your protection.
5. We will contact you confirming receipt of the return and informing you when the refund has been made. We aim to process all refunds or exchanges within 7 days of the items being returned to us.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Your satisfaction is our highest priority, and we aim at all times to deal with any queries in a timely and responsible manner.
